Hjelp til oppkobling av SB sammen med FS2k2...?

Sitter her nå med FS2002 Pro intallert på maskina...har squawbox 2.3. MEN hvordan skal jeg koble opp mot server osv..

Er det bare å hoste en game i FS`en, starte SB, søke å joine? I det tilfellet finner ikke SB noen game!

Jeg ser noen har trøbbel med SB i fs2002.

Jeg har vært oppkoblet både 12 og 13 november i mange timer og den fungerer helt fint. Meget bra vil jeg si.Men til dere som plages:følg readme til punkt og prikke. Start en MP i fs2002 først med deg selv som host. Kjør fixer som er med sb,start så SB host, deretter starter dereSB main program. Du skriver da ikke inn noen ting men søker etter dere selv.Som det står i readme.Når din host session kommer frem velger du den. deretter er det bare å koble seg opp mot en server på vatsim som funker.OBS ikke bruk de som ligger default i SB.De funket ikke her(ihvertfall ikke i går)

Ehh...TUTORIAL on SquawkBox for FS2002

This tutorial will guide you through running SquawkBox for the first

time.

1.) Start Flight Simulator

Once Flight Simulator is running ...

2.) Click FLIGHTS --> MULTIPLAYER --> CONNECT

3.) PLAYER NAME: ME {or whatever else you want to you}

4.) Click on the HOST Button

Another screen will be displayed ...

5.) SESSION NAME: MY SESSION {or whatever you want to use}

6.) SET MAX PILOTS = 16

7.) Click on OK Button

Wait for the Screen to disappear and then ...

If your in Full Screen Mode ...

8.) Press <ALT-ESC> to go back to your desktop

If your in Windowed Mode ...

8.) Minimize you Flight Simulator Screen ...

Please pay attention to the next set of instructions they may seem a bit

odd but if you follow them, the system will work.

9.) Click START --> PROGRAMS --> SquawkBox for FS2002 --> SB Host for 2002

Once that is running ...

10.) Click START --> PROGRAMS --> SquawkBox for FS2002 --> SB Main Program

SquawkBox Multiplayer Window do nothing just ...

11.) Click on OK Button

SquawkBox Multiplayer - Multiplayer Games Window ...

12.) Click on Start Search

Another Window will pop-up titled, "Locate Session", simply ...

13.) Click on OK Button

You should now see your game (Session Name) on the list if you do not then ...

14.) Type 127.0.0.1 into the box in the previous step and try again

You should now see your game (Session Name) on the list ...

15.) Highlight your session

16.) Click on the JOIN Button

You will now see a screen with a picture of an aircraft on it at this point ...

17.) Click on the large button at the bottom of this window, "Click Here

to Get Into the Action"

You should now see a Darker Window inside of a lighter Window. From this

point forward that Darker Window will be called the SB Main Window

18.) Right Click inside the SB Main Window

You will see a menu appear

19.) Click ATC Functions --> Change Callsign

You will be prompted for a Callsign, most callsigns are formatted like

(N45WT, UAL4456, BIZ3321, etc.)

20.) Type the callsign you wish to use

21.) Click OK Button

You should now be back at the SB Main Window

22.) Right Click inside the SB Main Window

You will see a menu appear

23.) Click ATC Functions --> File Flight Plan

You will see a virtual Flight Plan appear. At this point we only need a

few pieces of information to get going, at the bottom of the plan ...

24.) Type your First Name

25.) Type your Last Name

26.) Type your Home Base (this is your home airport like KONT, KIAH, KATL, etc.)

27.) Click on OK Button

You should now be back at the SB Main Window

28.) Right Click inside the SB Main Window

You will see a menu appear

29.) Click Connect

We have taken the liberty of updating the list of servers with both networks.

Vatsim and IVAO. However, your pilot registration number and password are

different between Vatsim and IVAO

30.) Select a server from the list (preferably something close to you)

31.) Make sure your Callsign is correct

32.) Type your Pilot Registration Number

33.) Type your Password

34.) If you understand how to utilize Roger Wilco enter the address of the

server here (if not leave it blank)

35.) Again, if you know how to use Roger Wilco leave the Check in the Box

to the right that reads "User Roger Wilco Voice". (If you do not then

UNCHECK this box for now.)

36.) Click on the OK Button to connect to the network.

Now you should be connected to either of the two networks. If you are not

and have received an error, post your question or problem on the SB for FS2002

forum at www.simclients.com. (Sorrry did not have time to discuss errors here)

37.) Right Click in the SB Main Window

38.) Select ATC Directory

You should see a list of all the ATC that is currently online. Within range

of where you aircraft is parked.

39.) Select the ATC you want to work with

Now it is finally time to get back into Flight Simulator.

40.) Find the window for Flight Simulator on your task bar and Maximize it.

Now you are in Flight Simulator, you may see text scrolling across the top, or

you may see the FS Chat Window Open. If you do not see the chat window ...

41.) Press the ENTER key

This Window is where you will communicate with ATC. You can <ALT-TAB> out to

the SB Main Window but it is not necessary unless there is some other function

you want to do that can't be done by a "DOT" command. Simply type in your text

or "DOT" commands here and they are sent to the SB Main Window automatically.

You will quickly notice that the window does not scroll properly. Everything

that gets entered into the window either from you or ATC resets the chat window

back to the top. There are two tools included with SB for FS2002 take a look at

the FS Chat Window Fix Readme file in the Squawkbox for FS2002 Program Group in

your start menu (START --> PROGRAMS --> SquawkBox for FS2002 --> README File)

Those two programs are very easy to use, you simply start whichever one you

want after starting Flight Simulator and away you go.

FS Chat Window Fix:

Moves the focus of the cursor to the bottom of the Flight Sim Chat window every

time new text or commands are added.

FS Chat Window Fix with Auto Show (PREFERRED METHOD):

Moved the focus of the cursor to the bottom of the Flight Sim Chat window every

time new text or commands are added and it also makes the Chat Window automatically

appear if any text is added to the window at all. (Works functionally the same way

the standard Flight Simulator ATC window works.). We prefer this method because it

makes sure you have received all the commands necessary.

Vel...jeg finner ikke min game som jeg hostet uansett om jeg skriver inn 127.0.0.1 eller ingen ting..(dette går jo som bare det i `98...)

Men, så trykker jeg cancel..da får jeg ikke opp SB i FS`2002, men i "SB Host"...noen gode svar..? [image]images/icons/confused.gif" border="0[/image]

Jada der er instruksjonene, enkelt og greitt ?

Dersom du har firewall på maskina di, kan det være at

du må tillate fs2002, multiplayer og SB å være server

både lokalt og mot internet.

Du kan evt også slå av firewall først og få igang

sakene og så "tette" etterhvert.

Serverlista i SB må redigeres, det er lagt in 0 for få 3 siffer i ipaddressen, disse nullene må vekk.

Det ligger også kommentarer etter ip addressen, og disse må muligens også vekk.

f.eks: xxx.0yy.00z.123 Vatsim_Europe

skal være bare: xxx.yy.z.123

Og hva skal jeg med IPèn når jeg ikke får startet og får SB opp i FS2002?

Bruker Win XP, så er det noen mulighteter for at jeg må gjøre et eller annet der?

(SB finner ikke gamen jeg hoster mao..

Og når jeg da trykker cancel,- får jeg opp SB i det andre "SB host.."-programmet..

Dette har jo du gjort ørten ganger,

så jeg regner med at dette kan du.

men kan du gjøre et forsøk med din ipadresse i det søkevinduet, for å se om den finner host'en da?

og den kan være, som du nevner at det er XP'en som lager problemet.

Har du sjekket "de store" foraene om det ligger noe der på dette?

Jeg bruker gode gamle 98se, .....osv...så så mye om denne XP vet jeg desverre ikke.....

ok...men da..hvordan finner jeg min egen ip? (Har prøvd å benytte "kjør" og tastet inn ipconfig..men kommer opp og fisvinner innen et sek...!)

Men nr. 2, hva har det seg at SB`en dukker opp i "SB Host"-programmet??

Er det bare den siste SB`en (BETA-greia..) som kan brukes sammen med FS2002?

Du har jo RW, fyr opp den og lag et hostrom, DA Stig vil du se din egen IP.....i adressen (Hvis intet annet nytter....)

og SB en kommer i HOST'en fordi det er mere omfattende , enn hva man først anntok, å få programmert den inn i vinduet til FS2002.

Men det kommer, det kommer......

Har prøvd den IP`en jeg får i RW når jeg creater en selv, og den ip`en jeg får når jeg går inn på multiplayer options på FS..!

Hvordan skal det derre FS Host se ut når det er slik det skal?? (På godt norsk er dere/du snill...?)

Jeg har kjøpt hele versionen av FS2k2 Pro.

Den er installert på C:\\Program files\\Microsoft Games\\FS2002,

SB, mappen ligger på C:\\Program files\\Microsoft Games\\SB

(Har det noe å si hvor jeg har SB`en??

ikke åpne noe der, ber fortsett med den vanlige Sb'en når den er oppe...

Nei det skulle i utgangspunktet funke, men jeg ville forsøkt å installert SB direkte under Program Files og ikke i Microsoft Games.

Det er fort gjort å prøve det.

Jeg måtte inn i "multiplayer options" og hente IP`en der!, for så å skrive den inn i IP-feltet på SB...!
