Jeg skriver dette på engelsk siden den skriftlige Norsken min er veldig dårlig (beklager [image]http://www.flightsim.no/ubb/images/icons/frown.gif[/image] )
The biggest problem with push (as opposed to pull) propeller is the effect it has on an ultralight (mikro fly) when you change power settings. The ultralights typically have much drag and will come down fast when power is cut. This is not so bad! The worst is that the nose will pitch UP, not down as in a 'regular' aircraft; when you cut power AND it happends extremely fast!
High drag, nose up and power cut = very dangerous! Many of the accidents in for example USA are caused by a pilot of a 'regular' plane (cessna o.l.). They are used to pull power on downwind to base or base to final turn and compensate for nose-down by applying back pressure - instead, the ultralight will slow fast and nose will come up abruptly.
If you do this in an ultralight with a push prop, you will more than likely stall and drop a wing resulting in a one or two turn spin into the ground - usually causing fatalities.
They are still perfectly safe, but many pilots of larger planes tend to think they can do this easily and buy one (cheap) just to take it up at their cottage etc. without prior instruction. Just a general awareness (or proper instruction!) of the very different handling of an ultralight will make you much safer.
Of course, there are also some ultralights available with a pull prop configuration.
