A Canadair CRJ-200 was destroyed when it crashed while on a flight from Oslo to Tromsø, Norway.
The aircraft departed Oslo-Gardermoen Airport at 23:10 hours local time on a mail and package flight to Tromsø. Contact with the aircraft was lost after a brief mayday call, according to a spokesman for the Norwegian rescue coordination centre.
Last data recorded by Flightradar24 show the aircraft en route at FL330 at 00:18 hours. Mode-S data then shows the aircraft descended from 33000 feet at 00:18:47 local time to 11725 feet in one minute time.
Swedish authorities stated that there is no chance the pilot's would have survived this accident.
