For snart 3 år siden landede LN-RDK, en SAS Dash 8-Q400 i Aalborg, hvorefter høyre landingstel kollapsede. Det var det første af 3 ulykker, som kostede Dash-8 livet inden for SAS. Siden da, har flyet var gemt af veien i Aalborg på en lille militærapron.

 

Tirsdag den 10. august blev flyet sendt på sin sidste reise. Det blev trukket fra denne apron til en hangar, hvor mekanikerne begyndte at skille det ad. En medarbejder i Aalborg Lufthavn har taget nogle bilder af jobbet:
