Gå inn på Start-> Kjør. Skriv COMMAND (Windows 9x,Me) eller CMD (Windows NT, 2000 XP).

I det sorte feltet du får opp skriver du IPCONFIG og trykker ENTER.

    IPCONFIG gir IP-adresse på alle kort, også ISDN, nettverkskort, modem etc. IPCONFIG /ALL gir tilleggsinfo som DNS-servere, WINS, DHCP, leasetime m.m.

    IPCONFIG holder for de aller fleste. /ALL er bare forvirrende.
