Skrevet 28. april 2006 18 år Fra http://www.virtualpilots.org/board/index.php?showtopic=3846 Airline: British Airways Flight: BA10 From: Bangkok Don Muang Airport (Originated from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport) To: London Heathrow Airport Passengers: 320 Crews: 25 Injuries: 0 Death: 0 Result: Plane diverted to Uralsk, Kazakhstan Core of Incident: BA10, a Boeing B747-400, took off from Bangkok, and after about 4 hours into the flight, a fire alarm was activated, indicating that the cargo hold is on fire. Captain dumped fuel and diverted to Uralsk. After investigation, it was found that the fire alarm was activated by a swamp of BEES! Passengers has been seperated into 3 different aircrafts such as the Airbus A320s and A321s due to the airfield size. The cargo will be transported on another charter flight. The Boeing B747-400 will be unloaded, fuel released to minimum, then take off to a bigger airfield to refuel and fly back to London Heathrow.
