July 1, 200025 yr sitat fra en bok (engelsk.. men skulle duge) " final leg A flight path extending from the end of the base leg in the direction of landing to and along the extended centerline of the runway (or landing path) to the thrreshold of the landing runway ( or landing path) " Final er da sluttinnlegget, det siste innlegget når en er på innflyging (base, downwind og slikt brukes og ofte for VFR fly, se under på VACC NO, under training om en sak om VFR fly) Final kan vær lang(long final), eller kort(short final), eller sånn passe.
