Einar Halvorsen Skrevet 14. april 2003 Skrevet 14. april 2003 ANNOUNCEMENT: DUTCH VACC ORGANISES "FRIDAY NITE FLY-IN" - A REAL OPERATIONS NIGHT FRIDAY 2 MAY 2003 - 1700-2200 UTC Dear VATSIM-pilots, Friday, May the 2nd, is the next date on which the Dutch VACC organises Friday Nite Fly-in, an event in the form of a REAL OPERATIONS NIGHT. This fly-in will be held at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS/EHAM) which is the 4th busiest mainport in Europe. The idea is simple: we try to make this night as real as it gets by simulating all real-life movements on that night between 1700 and 2200 UTC (1900-2400 LT/CET). Pilots fly with realistic callsigns on reallife operated routes using flightplans that are used in real-life by that specific airline for that flight, while the Dutch VACC takes care of professional ATC controllers at all positions. How much closer to reality can we make it for you? To achieve this, pilots are urged to book a (reallife-operated) flight, by selecting this flight on our website (address see below). Our website contains a list of all DEPARTING and a list of all ARRIVING flights between 1700 and 2200 UTC.
