NOTAM to all VATSIM members above Pilot/OBS rating :

 

The VATSIM Executive Committee, in accordance with its powers under the VATSIM Code of Regulations, hereby announces the following GLOBAL POLICY in respect of 'MAXIMUM NUMBER OF LINES IN ATIS'.

 

The following global policy will take effect on April 1st 2003 and applies to Air Traffic Controllers in all VATSIM Regions:

 

"All controllers are to have ATIS in their ProController/ASRC to a size never greater than four lines with a suggested maximum of three lines. The suggested format includes the Controller's voice connection details (if using Voice) in first line, then runways in use (if appropriate), followed only by some simple details of

the airport / airspace they are controlling in the lines to

follow."

 

This global policy has been introduced in order to establish a basic standard for controller ATIS as an aid to flying operations throughout all Regions.

Synes det er et bra forslag.

Etter det jeg har forstått så er det fra og med 1. April ikke lov å ha flere en 4 linjer i ATIS.

 

Mitt synspongt til det er kjempe bra, for når jeg skal fly så har jeg ikke flere en 4 linjer oppe og vis de 6 linjene fyker forbi så er det liksom ikke noen hensikt.

Og hvorfor skrive så mye piss underverandre når vi kan skrive bortover isteden.
