Jon Klose Larsen Skrevet 27. mars 2003 Skrevet 27. mars 2003 Norway and Denmark is needing your help to conduct 2 CPT´s, after the new standard CPT layout, as described in general on VATEUD´s training pages. The pilots will need to fly 3 legs.... ..Where the first leg is from a preset place "in space" to arrival in a major airport. Some of the pilots will get "special assignments" on this leg. ..Then refile, as quick as possible, to a minor airport with limited space on ground (expect holding). ..Then a new quick refile for the last leg, which is the relaxing stage of the test. The time, for the complete CPT, will be somewhere between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the turnaround time for each aircraft. Every pilot will recive detailed information related to their part in the CPT, along with some standard information about the CPT. If this have your interest, even if dates are not set yet, please send me a mail, with the subject "CPT Pilot - your name", which include the following... 1. your CID 2. your name 3. your online flying experience 4. membership of a VA and/or VACC - Which ? 5. your preference of aircraft (small/medium/heavy) 6. your prefered day of the week and starting time, to participate in a CPT 7. your online controller experience and rating, if any (not essential) We will need 16 pilots at each CPT, but I would really like to gather a pool of pilots (50+ in Scandinavia), who will also help out in the future, so please mail me if it have your interest. When the dates are set, I will contact the pilots, who have mailed me, to see who can participate on the given date and time. I hope to hear from a lot of you. Siter
Jon Klose Larsen Skrevet 31. mars 2003 Forfatter Skrevet 31. mars 2003 A little update... I have currently recieved mail from 9 pilots, who want to help out in CPTs. Thanks to all of you ! As stated in my posting above, I will need, at least, 16 pilots for each CPT, to fulfill the requirements for a CPT. So please send me a mail, if you want to participate in some hectic hours for the controller (and sometimes also for the pilots ). The only thing I can promise you, is that it will be a time to remember for all. Regards Jon Klose Larsen VATEUD Chief Examiner klose@post8.tele.dk Siter
Jon Klose Larsen Skrevet 4. april 2003 Forfatter Skrevet 4. april 2003 The CPT´s are now in the final steps of preparation, but there are still missing some pilots for the tests. The dates (right now) for the 2 CPT´s are: 13 april and 27 april. Both test to begin at 1800z (2000 local) If you will help out, please mail me the informations asked above, as soon as possible, or we might have to postpone the CPT´s... that would be sad for the controller candidates.
