  1. UPDATE: there are no traffic jams anymore due to (wo)men in blue or green suits (with machineguns) inspecting cars passing on entry of EHAM. So no notam.
  2. From a small discussion with Vidar: There is a NOTAM for returning to EHAM sunday morning. The NOTAM differs if you drive yourself (ie drylease a minibus) or when you let someone drive (wetlease). Please let me know and I will inform you as best as I can.
  3. That sounds better!! I might offer you transfer from Marktzicht to Aviodrome. ;-)
  4. What is fsweekend without you, Vidar?

Jeg kommer. Ett problem: jeg er ikke norsk.
  7. On April 15, 2011, I was flying (as pax!) into ENGM in a 737 by a well known airline with white tails and blue print (not to mistake with blue tails and white print). After landing I dared to ask the captain about the PMS. He looked at me as if he saw water burning and made an annoyed remark about the siteseeing tour over Norway that he didn't like. I did not tell him that I did like it and I did pay in advance ;-) (He was directed to 19L on his request, he told me) Anytime you introduce something new, tell your users......

  12. Too difficult for AVSIM to keep a link alive.... It moved: Info page at AVSIM For more info: Facebook page about Flight for Tony
  13. People who read PC Pilot regularly will likely know the fruits of his pen: articles written by author Tony Radmilovich who lives in Bend Oregon. Tony has unfortunately undergone multiple surgeries that failed but have cost a very lot of money. After all the struggle he will be back in hospital next week and we all hope for the best. Among others, AVSIM and his friends at PC Pilot have organised a major flightsim event for Tony's support. Maybe you like to participate...? Read more about it here: Info at AVSIM Regards, Geert

You can opt for longer runway (500 Nok charged) Lelystad airport is far enough from Amsterdam to call it a Ryanair flight to Amsterdam anyway.

Is this all by the book, Captain Solli?? (Runway is only 1250m) The idea is interesting: years ago you could enter FSWeekend for free, when you came-in by a plane landing on EHLE. I'm afraid times have changed...

Mini-taxi depends on the number of people ... If you consider train: Dutch Railways (NS) in English It will also tell you where you should switch trains to get in Harderwijk. After visiting Megastore another taxi can bring you to Hoofddorp Railway Station.

Just a thought: No MAX plan for a 737-6 ... will it push SAS-Norge into choosing EMB-190 for replacing B735s (and B736s later)? SAS, being launch customer for the 737-600, needed these for the short runways at lots of airports in Norge: is that still applicable in 2011?
  18. Based on old database, but use it for free: www.fsnavtool.nl
  19. Agreed. Ryanair shareholders pay. They open a market and get their money "a different way". Would you mind Ryanair 'taking care' of all connections in Norway at the cost of SAS, Norwegian, Wideroe...?
  20. Do we demand the B738 Ryanair is using, to be "ingen rust"...?
  21. Er det en NAVY Harrier, Fred?
  22. Nice movie.... considering to learn some Norwegian.

Saturday 17:00: 46 flights airborne. I count two from Greece. Have fun!
  25. Just read at Luchtvaartnieuws.nl: PORTLAND - Gardermoen Airport near Oslo in 2010 performed the best of all European airports in terms of punctuality. Had received the Norwegian airport earlier this week the first Airport On-Time Performance Award from Flight Stats. With an on-time performance "of 87.8 percent Oslo remained well above the European average of 69.6 percent." Translations by Google - don't blame me ;-)
