Bortsett fra i sommermånedene. Under sommertid er fortsatt GMT GMT mens norsk klokke er GMT+2. I Storbritania er den GMT+1.

    GMT, eller UTC, er den tid som alltid brukes i flyging, enten nasjonalt eller internasjonalt. På den måten slipper man å ta hensyn til sommertide/vintertid og slikt. Pr i dag, med vintertid, er norsk tid en time etter UTC. Med andre ord, hvis UTC er 14:00, så er norsk vintertid 15:00.
