Nicklas Jansson Skrevet 14. september 2005 Del Skrevet 14. september 2005 Hej! Ursäkta min dåliga norska. Jag tar det på engelska. The balance between high standard ATC and letting new peers get in to this hobby is a delicate one. VATSIM has taken the approach to restrict members from providing ATC without training. I find this good. This gives the local vaccs the opportunity to give new members training that should aim towards giving the new member sufficient skills before letting him/her giving ATC on his/her own. New ATCs must understand that they have much to learn and that they must not take positions that are too busy. Pilots and fellow ATC must accept that new peers don't posses full skill, but will need help in getting better. (This goes for new pilots as well.) In the primary training it we should not only focus on the practical ATC - It's equally important to introduce new ATCs to VATSIM:s and vaccsca:s rules and code of ethics. It is the people that fail to comprehend the last that causes problems later on. 1. We shall treat one another with respect. 2. We are all new in the begining. 3. We shall help each other and have fun together! Nicklas Jansson VATEUD5, SUPERVISOR Siter Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider
