"Plane lands on crowded Silicon Valley highway" Wednesday, November 29, 2000, 9:13 DPAP A skilful pilot in distress landed his light plane on a Silicon Valley highway in the middle of California rush hour, miraculously avoiding collision with any cars. Computer salesman William Hart, 57, was coming in to land at San Jose Airport last night when his engine quit due to a fuelrelease problem called engine vapor lock. Alone in his sixseat Beechcraft Bonanza airplane, Hart warned the airport of his distress by radio, then glided his plane to land on a northbound ramp on Highway 87, where he spotted a gap in traffic. “It's just one of those wonderful things where everything just went right,” said Captain Mark Mooney, a spokesman for the San Jose Fire Department. The California Highway Patrol shut down the highway while the plane was towed to the nearby airport.

Enligt mina vänner i London, så gick denna dokumentär i Engelsk TV för ca. 2 veckor sen, och orsakade en folkstorm där. Hei Björn O. X-Plane verkar greit. Tänk om man kunde applicere FS98 eller FS2K texturer i "World Maker"? Programme verkar ha mange plugins färdiga för användning till att konstruere fly og scenerys. Hei alle. Jag håller med Arne Sundsbö angåender driverne. Alla med TNT baserade kort bör hålla sig till Nvidias 3.xx drivers om det finns problem med grafiken. 5.xx driverne är optimerade för GeForce chipet, men fungerar oftast bra också på TNT korten. ( Allt enligt Nvidias techsupport ) Peter

Priset i SEK for disse greierna var ca: Processor 3000:- Adapercard 140:- Mobo ASUS 1200:- Minne 128Mb 1500:- ------------------- TOTALT CA: 5800:- En Athlon 800 processor kostar i Sverige ca:6200:- En Intel PIII 750 processor kostar i Sverige ca:6800:- For att kunna köra processorn i 133Mhz med adaptercard så måste det finnas jumpers (byglingar) på dit ad-card så man kan justere volt og FSB speed. (ex. 66/100/133) Om det inte finns, köp ett nytt adaptercard, de koster så lite. OBS!
